Wednesday Night Gravel Grinder Recap - July 5th, 2023: It was an impressive turnout with 18 Crash Rhino's ready for tonight's ride, although only 16 managed to make it into the start photo. As the designated photographer, I captured the moment while Bill observed from a distance. With a little persuasion, Pete convinced me to take the photo, as my skills were allegedly unparalleled. Peas and carrots! Snap! Laughter was absent, as this club takes their fun seriously. Pete led the A group on a 26-mile detour to avoid treacherous peanut butter Jossman roads, a wise decision. Meanwhile, Scott led the B group on a ride to Cook's for some much-needed ice cream - a brilliant idea! Although I initially joined the ice cream crew, Bill received a work call, compelling me to ensure his safe return to his car. True to our Rhino spirit, we always watch out for one another. A heartfelt thank you to all the riders for making the group ride possible, safe, and enjoyable for all. Go Rhino's! Warm regards, Mark.
